House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has lost it — again.
In a bizarre fundraising email sent out on Monday night, the California Democrat vowed to “avenge” former President Barack Obama, saying the GOP must “pay” for stealing the Supreme Court seat from Obama.
As reported by The Daily Caller, Pelosi sent out an email not only begging for money, but she also falsely claimed that President Donald Trump and Republicans stole the SCOTUS seat.
In a fundraising email. Pelosi must think Democrats are dumb enough to believe the House has any role to play in the confirmation of a Supreme Court justice.
Actually, they'll probably raise a fortune. #Caring https://t.co/SLvgTXXX9b

Unsurprisingly, Pelosi said Democrats will oppose Brett Kavanaugh, the president’s nominee to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, who announced he will be retiring at the end of this month.
In her email, Pelosi claimed that GOP advertisements to promote Kavanaugh will “eviscerate our chance to make Republicans pay for the Supreme Court seat they STOLE from President Obama.”
“But I’m determined to avenge President Obama if it’s the last thing I do,” she wrote, begging supporters to donate money to help Democrats block Trump’s pick.
There are several issues with Pelosi’s desperate pleas for help, starting the simple fact that the Senate votes to confirm Supreme Court nominees, not the House of Representatives.
Secondly, Pelosi falsely claimed that she was going to make Republicans “pay” because they “stole” a SCOTUS seat from Obama.
In 2016, when Obama was a lame duck president, he nominated Judge Merrick Garland to fill the seat for the late Justice Antonin Scalia, who passed away in 2015 after suffering from a heart attack.
Anyone else think Pelosi has gone off the deep end?

Senate Republicans refused to hold confirmation hearings on Garland because Obama should not have been allowed to nominate someone for the highest court during a lame duck year and the presidential election. Many agreed that the winner of the 2016 presidential election should be able to nominate someone to fill the vacancy.
At the time, Democrats had no problem with the SCOTUS vacancy being a big issue in the election because they thought Hillary Clinton was going to win. But she didn’t, and Trump got Justice Neil Gorsuch nominated onto the High Court.
As such, the Left is losing their minds over Trump getting the chance to nominate the second justice in less than two years.
The GOP controls a 51-49 majority in the Senate, meaning they need 50 votes to approve Kavanaugh. With Red state Democrats likely voting in favor of the nominee, Kavanaugh should easily be confirmed before the midterm elections in November.
Pelosi can spread fake news and complain all she wants. Voters said SCOTUS vacancies were a huge topic in the 2016 election, and they decided that they wanted Trump to nominate judges, not Crooked Hillary.
